Mousie Gifts!

Marbleized Eggs and More to Come
Tillie Tinkham and her Mouse friends fashion marbleized eggs.
Stay tuned, dear readers, as Tillie has been busy making even more surprises.
Tillie Tinkham, the seamstress Mouse for the dolls at Corgyncombe,
is the proprietress of Tillie Tinkham's Frocks and Fashions.

We at the Corgyncombe Courant have always loved Tasha Tudor illustrations of mouse dwellings underneath the floorboards and Beatrix Potter's mice Tom Thumb, Hunca Munca, Mrs. Tittlemouse, Timmy Willie, Johnny Town-mouse, Appley Dapply, Mr. John Dormouse and his daughter, and all the mice in "The Tailor of Gloucester". Our Cousin Jeri Landers has also illustrated many an adorable little mouse!

My goodness, Diane and Sarah,
Did you read my mind?? I was so anxious for an update on Tillie and her little friends! How talented they are to fashion such lovely little eggs for their tiny kindreds. I had to show husband!
I love to make frequent visits to our miniature library of Ms. Potter's tales, and I can't seem to go a day without perusing through dear Tasha's beautiful books!

It has rained and rained here ...and we watch and pray ...such flooding surrounds us.
Your post has been a bright spot in our day...and I have knit quite a little wardrobe for "country mouse" Eliza and her "city mouse" cousin....miniature Tasha Tudor cottage shawls and kerchiefs(made from grammy's handkersniff remnants) Hoping to send them by post tomorrow....photos will be forthcoming!

Blessings to you dear friends on your beautiful Spring day!

Dearest Friends,
I am so glad you came for a visit and met our newest little friends! What fun we have had today, and as I left the package with our postmaster, I felt such joy in my heart. Again, I must tell you what a dear, dear inspiration you have been, and how happy it has made me to be able to express my imagination ....sharing it with kindred spirits such as yourself ...feeling truly blessed by a loving Heavenly Father, who brings us together in the most unexpected ways.
Your sweet words always, always make my day brighter, and your precious posts are absolutely delightful! My husband enjoys when I share your wonderful stories of life in Vermont, your ancestry, your crafts, ...it is all a blessing to us.
Smiling on this beautiful Spring day!
Christie

Dear Diane and Sarah,

Ooh, how fun for the Mousekins! My children are excited that I just made a rat out of a felted sweater; his name is Tevia and now I get to make a prayer cap for him, too! :)

Love,

Marqueta and children
