Forget-Me-Not Blue, Dilley, Dilley: Tasha Tudor Inspired Dolls' Fair!

Celebrating Tasha Tudor's 100th Birthday Year!
At the Corgyncombe Forget-Me-Not Fair, Hitty Linnea's special herbal frock is from Tillie Tinkham's Frocks & Fashions, made by Tillie Tinkham, the Seamstress Mouse at Corgyncombe.

My husband made Nanny Nettie-Kin's wooden implement for crushing dried herbs. It is similar to an antique one of mine.
In front are packets of Nanny Nettie Kin's Corgyncombe Forget-Me-Not seeds.

Forget-Me-Nots have such a delightful, delicate scent!

The 100th anniversary of Tasha Tudor's birth was on August 28th, 1915.

Nanny Nettie-Kin reminds us of Tasha Tudor and we and the dolls and critters of Corgyncombe will continue to be celebrating this, the 100th year since Tasha Tudor's birth!

Our Duck Quackenbush's name was inspired by our old Quackenbush families.
Dilley Dibble Dabble was named after my 4th great grandfather's sister Dilley.
Dibble is an old family surname of ours.
Sarah planned the miniature plant stand after an antique and her father made the miniature plant stand to her specifications.

Floral Hall has always been a favorite of mine at the Country Fairs!

The Seven Sisters Rose that the Hittys call the "Seven Hittys Rose".

Amongst her fresh cut flowers are Thyme, Rose Geranium, Herb Robert, Rose, Pinks, Lavender, Feverfew, and Nanny Nettie-Kin's favorite: lots and lots of Forget-Me-Nots!

"What would you like, Dilley?" asks Quackenbush.
"We should really purchase a packet of Nanny's Nettie Kin's Corgyncombe Forget-Me-Not Seeds and plant more forget-me-nots!" says Dilley.

John Braddock was Uncle to my great great grandmother Juliaett Braddock.
In the mid-1800s John Braddock had an apothecary and perfumery in Hartford, Connecticut.

Nanny Nettie Kin's Corgyncombe Forget-Me-Not seeds sold at a booth at the Annual Corgyncombe Forget-Me-Not Fair.  Seeds to sow for a beauteous, bountiful sea of dainty forget-me-nots!

Nanny Nettie-Kin holds the Annual Corgyncombe Forget-Me-Not Fair to promote the delight and appreciation of her favorite flower, forget-me-nots! Tasha Tudor also loved forget-me-nots!

Quackenbush also purchases a bundle of forget-me-nots for his dear Dilley Dibble Dabble!
