A Late March Walk Along Corgi Creek

Rushing Water and Icicles
In the Tasha Tudor book "The Springs of Joy" there is an illustration of children and a corgi along a stream on a spring day warm enough to go barefoot. Some Red-winged Blackbirds can also be seen perched in some cattails. Accompanying the illustration there is a quote by Richard Jefferies on the same page of "The Springs of Joy". A portion of that quote seems to fit a chilly March walk along Corgi Creek.

"Like a dream of some spirit-land it would appear, scarce fit to be touched lest it should fall to pieces, too beautiful to be long watched lest it should fade away." Richard Jefferies "The Open Air"
