March Beauty!
As evening approached and the crocus closed, the sun set, providing colour in the sky similar to that of the early spring flower.
The first two photographs were taken in March 2006.The third photograph was taken in March 2011.

Yes, yes, lots of snow this year in the northeast. I will stay busy planting seedlings in the greenhouse, dreaming of spring flowers, and planning the vegetable garden. So much for peas in by St. Patrick's Day. I do, however, remember several Easters with spots of snow, woolen coats and mittens.
